Kalyan has deep experience in improving the operational efficiency and driving growth strategies of industrial and technology companies. He has worked with a variety of private-equity firms and their portfolio companies during due diligence efforts, strategic large-scale business transformations, and operational improvement programs. His work has encompassed the transformation of product and growth strategy and has optimized various functions like R&D, sales/marketing, and general and administrative expenses (G&A). He heads up the firms Customer Product Profitability approach and has completed several initiatives related to manufacturing optimization and tactical pricing. Prior to AlixPartners, Kalyan headed the transformation group at data analytics and measurement company Nielsen.
