SUMMARY
Tom supports both the growth and turnaround of large companies through M&A, performance improvement, and restructuring. He has nearly three decades of experience in supporting the improvement of underperforming companies and in leading cross-border acquisitions of Japanese and non-Japanese companies, from preacquisition phase to postmerger integration. Tom has served in leadership roles in a broad range of services, including corporate turnaround, cost reduction, sales force effectiveness, and organizational transformation. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is the author of “Professional Leader: Nine Skills for Turnaround” (Diamond 2015) and coauthor of “Turnaround Professional” (Nikkei, 2009).
